Putting Up An Art Exhibit
After refurbishing walls in the west part of the Historic Federal Building's main floor lobby I helped install paintings and framed pictures for an art exhibit.
Pieces of metal were fashioned along the lines of the type one uses to hang over picture mould. This was Done by Jake Pacheco, co-owner of The Fifth Street Expresso Bar. I painted them up the night before we hung all this. There are six artists in all.
Here's a shot of what I put up painted to blend into the top band.
We had a variety of different styles and mediums in the amalgam, and I was entrusted to hang Sara Cothren's three pieces as she couldn't make it.
