Progress At Spiral Column

My prototype study for a spiral voluted column now evolves to have a bottom truncated profile of a half-circle, and leaves out the hemi-spherical "buttons" off the row they ascend for clarity. Their proportions go from 1 : 1.618, to 1 : 2, as an aesthetic visual adjustment. I've decide to limit this module to 10 1/2 inches in height, and stick with a total diameter of 5 1/8 inches.
